Bawabat Al Sharq mall, the distinguished destination mall in the city of Baniyas East, Abu Dhabi, has bagged the prestigious 2014 Middle East Council of Shopping Centers (MECSC) Gold Award, Marketing Excellence, Sales Promotion and events for the Mother’s Day Event held in March 2014.

The MECSC Awards is the premier awards for the retail real estate industry. The awards are designed to honor outstanding achievements in retail, marketing, NOI enhancement, and the design and development of retail properties; it is recognized as the benchmark for excellence in the industry. All Gold winners will automatically enter into an international competition for the Viva (Vision, Innovation, Value, and Achievement) Best-of-the-Best Awards to be held in the USA in May 2015.

The Awards were presented at a dazzling ceremony organized by the Middle East Council of Shopping Centers at the Ritz Carlton DIFC, Dubai on the 13th of October.
